Biography
Hoàng Tùng (b. 1981, Hanoi) graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Languages and University of Social Sciences. He started his first business — a translation company — as a student. It failed. In 2006, he opened Viet Kitchen restaurant at 24 Ba Trieu, reaching 500M VND monthly revenue, but shareholder conflicts forced him to withdraw. In 2013, he founded Pizza Home with the motto "Fast - Delicious - Clean" — affordable pizza with Vietnamese-adapted flavors. The chain grew to ~20 locations in Hanoi. In 2020, his "Burger Corona" creation went viral globally, covered by CNN, BBC, Reuters, and Le Figaro. Beyond Pizza Home, he founded Mr Lau (home-delivery hotpot) and Cloud Cook (cloud kitchen). He is also a prolific F&B business analyst on Brands Vietnam and Spiderum, regularly publishing practical case studies.
